People Thought My Husband Was Impotent Because He Had No Child at 35 — Priscilla Ojo

Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has opened up about the public scrutiny her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, faced before they welcomed their first child together.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jidenowo, Priscilla revealed that many people in Tanzania once assumed the singer was impotent because he had no child at the age of 35 despite his popularity, wealth, and previous relationships.

According to her, the speculation grew because many of Juma Jux’s friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry already had children, while he remained without a child or a baby mama.

Priscilla explained that the rumours persisted for years before the couple eventually welcomed their son in August 2025.

“In his country Tanzania, people thought he was impotent because he did not have a child or babymama like many of his friends and colleagues. They were like, ‘Why is he not having kids like his friends?’ Because obviously, he has been in past relationships,” she said.

She added that despite the pressure and public assumptions, her husband remained patient and disciplined, insisting he was waiting for the right time.

“There were questions, but he knew when it was time. He is very disciplined. He knew what he wanted. You can roll with certain people and not be like them,” she added.

Priscilla also disclosed that even after the birth of their child, rumours continued to trail the couple, with some people speculating that the baby was born through surrogacy or implantation.

The couple got married in a civil ceremony in Tanzania in February 2025 before holding both traditional and white weddings in Lagos, Nigeria, in April of the same year.

They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025.
