Emetu Rallies Ohafia Stakeholders, Commends Surge in Labour Party Registration

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Ikechukwu Emetu, today received stakeholders of the Labour Party from Ohafia Local Government Area at his country home in Amaekpu Ohafia, in a gathering that highlighted growing grassroots momentum for the party.

In his remarks, the Deputy Governor applauded the stakeholders for their consistent turnout over consecutive weekends, describing their commitment as a strong signal of dedication to both party growth and the overall development of Abia State. He encouraged them to sustain the momentum and remain focused on ensuring the success of the ongoing Labour Party online membership registration exercise.

Deliberations at the meeting centered on the progress achieved so far, with reports indicating a remarkable increase in participation across Ohafia LGA. The Deputy Governor linked this rising interest to the people-focused policies and inclusive leadership style of the Governor, Alex Chioma Otti.

He further emphasized that the administration’s strides in good governance, community advancement, and reliable social services continue to strengthen public trust and inspire wider support among citizens.

Stakeholders, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor for providing the logistics and support that have enabled the smooth execution of the registration process.
