The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, joined the state’s leadership and other stakeholders at a Solemn Assembly and Covenant Renewal Service held on Thursday at the JAAC Secretariat in Umuahia.

The service brought together Governor Alex Otti, senior government officials, members of the clergy and other stakeholders for a period of prayer, thanksgiving and renewed commitment to the state.

Emetu participated in the prayers alongside other attendees, with the gathering focused on seeking divine guidance and protection for Abia State.

The prayers also covered the continued peace, progress and development of the state, reflecting the participants’ commitment to placing its affairs before God.

The event provided an opportunity for the state’s leadership and other participants to express gratitude and renew their commitment to the wellbeing and advancement of Abia.
