MultiChoice Nigeria has officially opened the registration portal for the 11th season of the popular reality show Big Brother Naija, shortly after confirming its return to television screens.

In a post shared on Instagram, the organisers announced that interested applicants can register online between May 16 and May 20 in order to qualify for the physical audition stage.

They also noted that application slots are limited, as the portal is expected to reach capacity quickly due to high demand.

Application guidelines

To participate in the audition process, candidates are required to visit the official Big Brother Naija registration portal, complete their personal details, and select a preferred audition date, location, and time.

The physical auditions are scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 24 in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu. Successful applicants will be contacted via email.

MultiChoice stated that the audition process is free and open only to individuals aged 21 and above with valid identification documents.

It also warned that the registration portal will close once maximum capacity is reached.

Terms and conditions

According to guidelines on the portal, applicants are responsible for safeguarding their audition materials and personal information, as sharing them before the show’s broadcast could lead to disqualification.

It further stated that multiple registrations by a single applicant may result in automatic disqualification, advising candidates not to create more than one profile.

“Once you receive a confirmation of your first application, do not register again,” the guidelines noted.

Previous season recap

The 10th season of Big Brother Naija, tagged “10/10,” aired from July 26 to October 5, 2025. The edition featured 29 housemates—15 women and 14 men—competing for a record ₦150 million grand prize, which included cash and sponsor gifts.

After 10 weeks of competition, Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale emerged winner with 42.8% of the final votes, while Precious ‘Dede’ Ashiogwu finished as runner-up.

Reports indicated that the voting margin recorded in the season was the widest in the history of the show.
