The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, has felicitated with renowned legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Elder Etigwe Uwa, SAN, on the occasion of his birthday.

Emetu described Uwa as a distinguished legal luminary whose career has been marked by excellence, integrity and a strong commitment to justice.

In a goodwill message issued to celebrate the occasion, the Deputy Governor commended Uwa for his remarkable achievements and longstanding contributions to the Nigerian legal profession.

He noted that Uwa's depth of knowledge, intellectual capacity and mastery of legal practice had earned him considerable respect within and beyond the legal community.

According to Emetu, Uwa's elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria was a fitting recognition of his professional competence, hard work and sustained excellence in the legal profession.

The Deputy Governor further noted that Abia State was proud of the lawyer's achievements, adding that his professional journey continues to inspire younger members of the legal profession and other professionals across the country.

Emetu wished Uwa many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfilment.

He also prayed that God would continue to strengthen the legal luminary for greater accomplishments and enable him to make further contributions to the development of the legal profession, Abia State and Nigeria.
